Virginia High School Basketball - Freedom crushes Loudoun County
December 28, 2022: South Riding, VA 20152 Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), 44-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chantilly (Chantilly, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Chantilly won 54-43 in their recent non-league game against Justice (Falls Church, VA)
With the defeat, Loudoun County moves to 1-5 on the year. The Captains travel to Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA) to face the Huskies in a Dulles game on Tuesday, January 3. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 7-2. Tuscarora lost 59-42 in their recent non-league game against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)
