Indiana High School Basketball - Lowell overwhelms Whiting

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) and the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), saw Lowell's basketball squad wallop Whiting by a tally of 49-18.

With the victory, Lowell improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-17.

Next up, the Oilers play the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Friday, January 20. Whiting will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to La Lumiere (La Porte, IN).
