In Friday's non-league game, the St. Pius X Panthers (Houston, TX) football team got by the visiting Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX), by a score of 32-29.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Manor (Manor, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Manor nipped Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX), 33-28, in a non-league game.

The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Episcopal School of Dallas for a Southwest Prep 4A game on Friday, September 20. Episcopal will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-21 non-league win over Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
