The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) and the visiting Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), observed McDowell's football squad edge Austintown-Fitch by a count of 38-35.

The Trojans now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Erie for a District 10 Region 8 contest on Friday, October 25. McDowell will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 61-40 league loss to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Royals record now stands at 3-6.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) in a All-American - Independent contest, on Friday, October 25.
