October 18, 2019: Allen Park, MI 48101 The Allen Park Jaguars knocked off the visiting Edsel Ford Thunderbirds football team by a final score of 49-19 in Friday's league game.
The Jaguars (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Anderson (Southgate, MI). The Titans come into the Downriver game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Anderson was dropped by Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), 42-13, in a league game.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Truman/Kennedy for a Downriver game on Friday, October 25. Edsel Ford will battle a Griffins team coming off a 22-6 non-league loss to Mott (Waterford, MI). The Griffins record now stands at 0-8.
