Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Morris Redskins (Morris, IL), 48-33 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Coal City improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Coalers host Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to confront the Fightin' Irish in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Fightin' Irish come into the test with a record of 1-0. Bishop McNamara won 49-21 in their recent non-league test against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)

With the loss, Morris drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Manteno (Manteno, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 6.
