January 8, 2013: Creighton, NE 68729 Clearwater/Orchard Cardinals (Clearwater, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Creighton Bulldogs (Creighton, NE), 54-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clearwater/Orchard upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Plainview (Plainview, NE) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Plainview lost 66-43 in their recent league bout against Stanton (Stanton, NE)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Laurel-Concord/Coleridge Bears (Laurel, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 11. Creighton will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 76-32 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE).
