In Friday's league match, the visiting Mead Maverick basketball team scored a good 58-43 triumph over the Northridge Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Maverick meet the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) in a 4A Tri-Valley match, on Tuesday, February 19. Mead will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Roughriders enter the match with a 13-9 record after their 74-69 league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO).

With the defeat, Northridge moves to 3-19 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Berthoud (Berthoud, CO) to encounter the Spartans in a 4A Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, February 19. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 4-18. Berthoud lost 58-47 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO)
