Spectators at Saturday's non-league test between the Velma Jackson Falcons (Camden, MS) and the visiting Canton Tigers (Canton, MS), witnessed Velma Jackson's basketball squad beat Canton by a margin of 45-33.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record.

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wingfield for a non-league test on Thursday, November 15. Canton will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
