January 18, 2013: Bellevue, MI 49021 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bellevue Broncos (Bellevue, MI) and the visiting Colon Magi (Colon, MI), saw Bellevue's basketball squad overcome Colon by a count of 42-27.
With the victory, Bellevue upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Jackson Christian (Jackson, MI) to play the Royals in a Southern Central challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Jackson Christian won 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI)
Next up, the Magi play the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southern Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Colon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Fighting Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 71-52 league loss to Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI).
