January 16, 2021: Ferris, TX 75125 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) and the host Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), saw Life Waxahachie's basketball squad hold off Ferris by a count of 62-56.
With the victory, Life Waxahachie upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Alvarado (Alvarado, TX) to play the Indians in a 4A Region II District 11 challenge on Monday, January 18. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Alvarado lost 49-42 in their recent league challenge against Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, January 19. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 62-53 league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
