Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum nips Blaine
May 31, 2021: Bellingham, WA 98226 Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 62-60 in a league bout.
With the victory, Squalicum upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to play the Pioneers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, June 2. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Nooksack Valley lost 55-34 in their recent league bout against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Borderites play the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Wednesday, June 2. Blaine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 68-32 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
