Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Portage Indians (Portage, IN), 59-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valparaiso upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 18-6. South Bend Riley won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN)
