In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Rossville Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Tri-Central Trojans.

The Hornets (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN). The Bulldogs come into the Hoosier Heartland battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Clinton Central lost by Tipton (Tipton, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland battle, on Thursday, September 6. Tri-Central will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Converse, IN).
