North Carolina High School Volleyball - Salisbury tips Lexington Senior

August 28, 2018: Salisbury, NC 28144

Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Lexington Senior Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a 2A Central Carolina match, on Thursday, August 30. Salisbury will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

With the loss, Lexington Senior drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Ledford Senior (Thomasville, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A Central Carolina match on Thursday, August 30. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 4-1. Ledford Senior won 3-0 in their recent league match against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
