Illinois High School Volleyball - Maine South tips Lockport
August 25, 2018: Park Ridge, IL 60068 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) and the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), saw Maine South's volleyball squad nip Lockport by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Maine South upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Prospect won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
The Porters now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet West for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 28. Lockport will play a squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The record now stands at 1-1.
