September 30, 2023: Chalmette, LA 70043 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Owls battle the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Chalmette will attempt to better on its 15-6 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
With the loss, Central Private drops to 14-9 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to battle the Flames in a Division V District 5 contest on Monday, October 2. The Flames come into the contest with a record of 6-3. Family Christian lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA)
