The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA) and the visiting Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA), observed Westgate's football squad edge Edna Karr by a count of 27-20.

The Tigers now own a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Easton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 11. Westgate will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 45-17 non-league win over Neville (Monroe, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
