Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA), 27-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Montgomery improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Linden (Linden, NJ) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Linden won 33-13 in their recent league test against Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ)

With the loss, Northwest Area drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA) to confront the Indians in a PIAA District IV test on Friday, September 10. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-1. Cowanesque Valley won 26-19 in their recent league test against Sayre (Sayre, PA)
