October 8, 2021: Maud, TX 75567 In Friday's league match, the host Maud Cardinals football squad scored a good 47-36 victory over the Detroit Eagles.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 9 match, on Friday, October 15. Maud will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 40-26 league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX).
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Clarksville (Clarksville, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A-2 Region III District 9 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Clarksville was toppled by Bowie (Simms, TX), 52-20, in a league match.
