Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), 38-8 in a league test.

With the triumph, Greenbrier West improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to confront the Patriots in a Coalfield A test on Friday, October 29. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-4. Midland Trail won 41-2 in their recent league test against Richwood (Richwood, WV)

With the loss, Sherman drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tide travel to Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV) to confront the Wildcats in a Coalfield A test on Friday, October 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-4. Meadow Bridge won 34-0 in their recent league test against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV)
