October 15, 2021: Auburn, CA 95603

In Friday's league game, the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) football team smashed the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), by a final score of 56-0.

The Hillmen (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the Foothill Valley game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Oakmont was trounced by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 28-21, in a league game.

The Knights now hold a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a Foothill Valley game on Friday, October 22. Rio Linda will battle a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 23-15 league win over Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 5-2.
