West Virginia High School Football - George Washington smashes Riverside

October 8, 2021: Charleston, WV 25314

The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) football routed the visiting Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), 49-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, October 15. George Washington will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 14-0 league win over Capital (Charleston, WV).

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles enter the Mountain State bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, South Charleston walloped Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV), 38-21, in a league bout.
