In Friday's league game, the McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) football team were victorious over the host Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO), by a score of 35-7.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their game against East Newton (Granby, MO). The Patriots come into the Big 8 - West game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, East Newton was knocked off by Marshfield (Marshfield, MO), 28-14, in a non-league game.

The Indians now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nevada for a Big 8 - West game on Friday, October 1. Seneca will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-14 league win over Monett (Monett, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
