The Pleasant Spartans thwarted the visiting Galion Tigers football team by a count of 26-12 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Pleasant upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 30. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 8-2. Elyria Catholic won 35-27 in their recent non-league outing against Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH)
