Game Summary
The LB Cabrillo Jaguars took a 2-0 lead in the very first inning, but Compton came back to score 2 runs in the bottom half of the 2nd inning to even the score 2-2. However, the Jags exploded 6 runs in the top half of the 4th inning to finish off Compton by a score of 8-3. Despite the loss, Andy Rosales went 7 strong innings and allowed 7 scattered hits but but his wildness was his undoing as he walked a season high 7 batters despite striking out 11 Cabrillo hitters. A critical outfield error by Devante Guidry however opened the flood gates for all 6 runs (unearned) that were scored in the 4th inning. Next up for Compton is an away game against the always tough LB Poly Jackrabbits.
