Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA) and the host Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), saw Oxford's basketball squad hold off Great Valley by a count of 34-32.

With the victory, Oxford upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Unionville Indians (Kennett Square, PA) in a Southern Chester County - National test, on Tuesday, December 16. Great Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
