December 30, 2008: Corinth, TX 76210 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) and the host Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX), saw Aubrey's basketball squad overcome Lake Dallas by a count of 41-24.
With the victory, Aubrey upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Chaparrals host Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge on Saturday, January 3. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Pottsboro lost 54-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Texoma Christian (Sherman, TX)
Next up, the Falcons play the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 3. Lake Dallas will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX).
