February 28, 2009: Lamar, CO 81052 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lamar Savages basketball team scored a good 58-39 triumph over the Rye Thunderbolts.
In their next game, the Savages confront the Peak to Peak Pumas (Lafayette, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 6. Lamar will attempt to better on its 17-8 season record. The Pumas enter the match with a 15-8 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to Holy Family (Broomfield, CO).
With the defeat, Rye falls to 16-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Bayfield (Bayfield, CO) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 6. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Bayfield won 64-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO)
