California High School Basketball - Century fells Bolsa Grande
December 17, 2008: Garden Grove, CA 92844 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Century Centurions (Santa Ana, CA) and the host Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), saw Century's basketball squad overcome Bolsa Grande by a count of 47-38.
With the victory, Century upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Centurions host Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA) to play the Breakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 19. The Breakers come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Laguna Beach lost 60-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Morningside (Inglewood, CA)
Next up, the Matadors play the Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 2. Bolsa Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Whitney (Cerritos, CA).
