Colorado High School Basketball - University holds off Strasburg
January 23, 2009: Greeley, CO 80634 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) and the visiting Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO), saw University's basketball squad hold off Strasburg by a count of 53-48.
With the victory, University upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Platte Valley (Kersey, CO) to play the Broncos in a 3A Patriot challenge on Tuesday, January 27. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Platte Valley lost 57-30 in their recent league challenge against Erie (Erie, CO)
Next up, the Indians play the Yuma Indians (Yuma, CO) in a 3A Patriot challenge, on Saturday, January 24. Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 59-49 league loss to Estes Park (Estes Park, CO).
