California High School Basketball - University fells Belmont
December 15, 2008: Los Angeles, CA 90026 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Belmont Sentinels (Los Angeles, CA), saw University's basketball squad overcome Belmont by a score of 36-24.
With the victory, University advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Saturday, December 27. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 2-2. Ironwood Ridge won 42-23 in their recent league test against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ)
The Sentinels now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sylmar for a non-league test on Friday, December 19. Belmont will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 36-33 non-league win over Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
