Florida High School Basketball - Glades Day nudges Leonard
December 10, 2008: Lake Worth, FL 33463 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Glades Day Gators (Belle Glade, FL) basketball squad edged the host Leonard Lancers (Lake Worth, FL), by a margin of 41-36.
The Gators (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against King's Academy (West Palm Beach, FL). The Lions go into the 2A District 13 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, King's Academy nipped Benjamin (North Palm Beach, FL), 63-21, in a league outing.
The Lancers now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlantic for a 6A District 10 outing on Thursday, December 11. Leonard will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 71-31 league win over Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
