Texas High School Basketball - Eisenhower crushes Terry
January 16, 2009: Rosenberg, TX 77471 Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Terry Rangers (Rosenberg, TX), 81-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eisenhower upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kingwood (Kingwood, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, January 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Kingwood lost 44-38 in their recent league bout against Atascocita (Humble, TX)
Next up, the Rangers play the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 20. Terry will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Ricebirds go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 42-35 league win over Foster (Richmond, TX).
