California High School Basketball - Arrowhead Christian holds off Woodcrest Christian
January 9, 2009: Riverside, CA 92508 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Arrowhead Christian Eagles (Redlands, CA) and the host Woodcrest Christian Royals (Riverside, CA), saw Arrowhead Christian's basketball squad hold off Woodcrest Christian by a score of 54-48.
With the victory, Arrowhead Christian improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA) to play the Falcons in a Christian challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Aquinas lost 53-27 in their recent league challenge against Loma Linda Academy (Loma Linda, CA)
Next up, the Royals play the Hamilton Bobcats (Anza, CA) in a Big Sky challenge, on Wednesday, January 14. Woodcrest Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 69-12 non-league win over Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA).
