In Saturday's non-league match, the host Shakopee Sabers basketball team scored a good 44-34 triumph over the Anoka Tornadoes.

In their next game, the Sabers confront the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. Shakopee will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bluejays enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 77-49 non-league win over River Falls (River Falls, WI).
