October 2, 2021: Gypsum, CO 81637 Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Frontier Academy Wolverines (Greeley, CO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Devils confront the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Western Slope - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 5. Eagle Valley will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Sailors enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Rifle (Rifle, CO).
The Wolverines now possess a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sterling for a 3A Patriot challenge on Thursday, October 7. Frontier Academy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Liberty Common (Fort Collins, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.
