Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Squires confront the Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 21. Manchester will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Oak Hill (Converse, IN).

The Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winamac for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 26.
