California High School Baseball - Hughson nips Ripon

Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Hughson upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Huskies host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to battle the Cougars in a Trans Valley test on Wednesday, April 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 10-7. Escalon won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Lodi (Lodi, CA)

With the defeat, Ripon falls to 8-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Downey (Modesto, CA) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-11. Downey lost 9-2 in their recent league test against Enochs (Modesto, CA)
