March 16, 2013: Livonia, LA 70755 Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Livonia upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Port Barre (Port Barre, LA) to battle the Red Devils in a 3A District 5 test on Tuesday, March 19. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Morgan City falls to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ellender (Houma, LA) to battle the Patriots in a 4A District 8 test on Wednesday, March 20. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-11. Ellender lost 14-2 in their recent non-league test against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA)
