In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lower Brule Sioux basketball team scored a good 70-57 triumph over the Winnebago Indians.

In their next game, the Sioux meet the Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 27. Lower Brule will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record.
