In Thursday's non-league outing, the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), by a count of 38-29.

The Bearcats (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Mavericks go into the North Central outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, McCutcheon was topped by Zionsville (Zionsville, IN), 72-66, in a non-league outing.
