Alaska High School Basketball - North Pole overwhelms Houston
January 15, 2022: Big Lake, AK 99652 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) and the host Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK), saw North Pole's basketball squad wallop Houston by a tally of 54-18.
With the victory, North Pole improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Monroe Catholic lost 56-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Colony (Palmer, AK)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) in a 3A Eastern challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Houston will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record.
