Alaska High School Basketball - Susitna Valley crushes Ninilchik
January 10, 2022: Talkeetna, AK 99676 Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK), 42-11 in a league bout.
With the win, Susitna Valley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rams host Petersburg (Petersburg, AK) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 20. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Petersburg lost 44-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Metlakatla (Metlakatla, AK)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Effie Kokrine Charter Warriors (Fairbanks, AK) in a 2A Interior challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Ninilchik will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 0-0 league Tok (Tok, AK).
