January 7, 2022: Ethan, SD 57334 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), saw Ethan's basketball squad overcome Wessington Springs by a tally of 62-51.
With the victory, Ethan improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rustlers host Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD) to play the Huskies in a B Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Bridgewater/Emery lost 41-38 in their recent non-league challenge against More (Rapid City, SD)
Next up, the Spartans play the Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Wessington Springs will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
