Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) and the visiting Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO), saw Pagosa Springs's basketball squad hold off Centauri by a tally of 51-50.

With the victory, Pagosa Springs improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Valley (Gilcrest, CO) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Valley won 55-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Strasburg (Strasburg, CO)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 4. Centauri will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Miners come into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 47-36 non-league win over SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO).
