Georgia High School Basketball - Lovett tops McNair
December 7, 2021: Atlanta, GA 30316 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) and the host McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), saw Lovett's basketball squad knock off McNair by a tally of 48-28.
With the victory, Lovett improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA) to play the Soaring Eagle in a AA Region 6 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Soaring Eagle come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Coretta Scott King YWLA won 40-33 in their recent league challenge against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, December 11. McNair will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 43-25 league loss to Columbia (Decatur, GA).
