North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury overwhelms Corvian Community
December 8, 2021: Salisbury, NC 28144 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Salisbury's basketball squad wallop Corvian Community by a tally of 81-19.
With the victory, Salisbury improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Thomasville lost 43-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 9. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 61-37 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
