Nebraska High School Basketball - Elkhorn Valley overwhelms Central Valley

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elkhorn Valley Falcons (Tilden, NE) and the visiting Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE), saw Elkhorn Valley's basketball squad wallop Central Valley by a count of 73-43.

With the victory, Elkhorn Valley upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to St. Francis (Humphrey, NE) to play the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 11. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. St. Francis won 55-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (David City, NE)

Next up, the Cougars play the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) in a D1 District 10 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 47-36 non-league loss to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE).
