Georgia High School Softball - Morgan County holds off Walnut Grove
October 2, 2023: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 The Morgan County Bulldogs the host Walnut Grove Warriors softball squad by a final score of 7-5 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 27-0 record.
The Warriors now possess a 13-13 record. They play next when they host North Oconee for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, October 3. Walnut Grove will meet a Titans squad coming off a 7-5 league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Titans record now stands at 20-6.
